ABOUT HERITAGE
Events set with care, since 2013.
A family-run event hire business based in Chitungwiza, setting up weddings, corporate functions and family celebrations across Harare and the surrounding suburbs. Twelve years in, the work is still the same: show up early, set it up properly, and leave a venue better than we found it.

Our story
How Heritage started.
Heritage began in 2013 with a handful of tables, a stack of chairs, and one marquee that we set up for a family wedding in Chitungwiza. Word spread the way it does in Zimbabwe — a cousin recommended us to a neighbour, a neighbour recommended us to a colleague — and within a year we were running events most weekends through the high season.
The inventory grew as the bookings did. Tiffany chairs for the weddings that wanted them. Stretch tents for garden ceremonies. A jumping castle, a candy floss machine, a PA, then the floodlights and mobile toilets that mean a venue out in the bush still works for two hundred guests. Every piece earned its place by being asked for, never bought speculatively.
Twelve years and 50-plus events later, the business is still run by the same family, out of the same yard, with most of the same crew. The relationships we built in the first few years — caterers, venues, photographers, planners — are the same ones we work with today. That continuity is the part you can’t buy.
— The Heritage team

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Four things we don’t compromise on.
01 Show up on time
The truck rolls when we said it would. If the brief says set-up by lunch, we’re packed up by lunch. Late is a choice and we don’t make it.
02 Set up everything
Tents pegged, tables dressed, chairs aligned, cables hidden. You shouldn’t be carrying a single thing on the day. That’s our job, included.
03 Treat every event like the first
The 51st wedding gets the same care as the first. Familiarity is for the crew, never the client. We re-read every brief.
04 Charge fair, deliver more
Our quote is the price. No nasty extras on the day. We’d rather under-promise and bring a spare than charge for a surprise.

WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE US
A decade of doing the small things right.
12+ years in business

SERVICE AREA
Where we deliver.
Our primary delivery zone is Harare and Chitungwiza — Borrowdale, Mount Pleasant, Avondale, Highlands, Greendale, Glen Lorne, Marlborough and across the south through to Unit L. Same-day quotes, weekday and weekend setups, no minimum order on stock we already have in the yard.
For larger weddings and country venues outside the city we travel further by arrangement — Ruwa, Norton, Mazowe, Domboshava and beyond. Add a note about the location when you request your quote and we’ll factor it in.

IN THEIR WORDS
“We’ve worked with Heritage on three corporate events now and the experience is the same every time. The quote arrives the next day with no surprises. The crew arrives early, sets up quietly, and the venue looks exactly the way it did in the proposal photos. When you spend your week running events, the supplier you can stop worrying about is the one you keep coming back to. Heritage is that supplier — they earn it with consistency, not promises.”
